Awards for Excellence in Innovation

Assistant Minister for Industry, Mr Craig Laundy, speaking at the 2017 Awards for Excellence in InnovationAwards for Excellence in Innovation are presented to CRCs at the CRC Association Annual Conference to recognise outstanding examples of the transfer of CRC research results, knowledge and technologies that have been developed for a wide range of users of research, including the community, companies and government agencies.

In 2018 the Awards will be presented at a Gala Presentation Dinner at Aerial UTS Function Centre in Sydney on Tuesday 15 May as part of Collaborate | Innovate | 2018. Up to four Awards will be given for innovation with demonstrated impact for Australia. The impact might arise from innovation in the application and use of research or from innovation in education and training or public outreach activities.

Showcasing Early Career Researchers

Each year at the CRC Association Annual Conference a number of  early career researchers are selected to attend and present their research to the conference. Initial entries are submitted in a 30-second video. Finalists give a 5-minute presentation at the conference. The prize money available is $10,000 in total.
