Anne is a highly accomplished leader and communication professional with more than 25 years’ experience in communication strategy development, research, measurement and evaluation, corporate positioning, and community engagement.
Anne is a Director of the Canberra based innovation consultancy, Howard Partners. She also heads up the firm’s newly established strategic communication practice, Howardcomms.
Most recently, Anne was CEO of the Public Relations Institute of Australia (PRIA), Australia’s peak body representing more than 4,000 professional PR and communication practitioners across the country. Anne is also the former CEO of the Australian Venture Capital Association (AVCAL).
Anne has held academic roles in Strategic PR and Communication at the University of Canberra. She holds a Master’s Degree in Online Communication and Social Media Engagement, a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication and Public Relations, and currently sits on a number of industry advisory panels.
