CRC for High Integrity Australian Pork
Dr Roger Campbell is CEO of the CRC for High Integrity Australian Pork (Pork CRC). He has a PhD in nutrition and physiology and a long career in research and commercial production. Dr Campbell was also the CEO of the first Pork CRC (CRC for a globally competitive industry). He began his career with the Victorian Department of Agriculture as a research scientist before moving to the role of general manger of technical services for Bunge Meat Industries (Now Rivalea Australia) the largest pork production company in Australia and spent two stints in the USA. The first was as a visiting scientist with the USDA based in Beltsville Maryland. The second was between 1999 and 2005 when he was the General Manager of Ausgene a pig genetic company based in Blooming Illinois. He returned from the USA in 2005 to take up the role of CEO of the first Pork CRC.
